Dardania

	Dardania The region on the Asian side of the Hellespont, opposite Gallipoli and near the ancient site of Troy. Like the Trojans, the Dardanii were probably a mixture of Achaean, Luvian, and Hittite influences. Aeneas founded the city of Alba Longa, the principle city of Latium prior to the founding of Rome by Romulus and Remus in the 700's.
